Titus Rubles, a 6-foot-7 combo forward from God's Academy in Dallas, is expected to visit Reno on an official recruiting visit within the next month, his high school coach Tim Miller said this week.
It will be the first official visit for Rubles, who has drawn scholarship offers from Nevada, Tulane, Marshall and received interest from ex-Nevada coach Mark Fox at Georgia.
"He's real good," Miller said of Rubles, who averaged 19 points, eight rebounds and two steals per game last season. "He's a great rebounder. He's a great scorer as well. He can rebound and score around the basket. He can also pull guys out away from the basket because he can handle the ball as well. Good defender. Can guard the three, the four and the two. Very athletic. He just does a lot of good stuff."
Rubles is the teammate of another Pack recruit, K.C. Ross-Miller, who took an official visit to Nevada earlier this month.
Miller said Rubles' recruitment is "open, but I would say Nevada has a great start ahead of everybody else."
